Hi, I’m Andrés, a Marriage Celebrant based in Adelaide, South Australia. I was born and raised in Colombia, but moved to Australia in 2001 to study visual arts and teaching at uni. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, and, as I grew older, I found my passion in lecturing, public speaking, and event planning, which all naturally led me to becoming a celebrant. Now I get to do what I love most – helping humans celebrate their biggest moments in a way that feels authentic, unique, and joyful. 

My philosophy: Heartfelt ceremonies for every occasion

Being a marriage celebrant is about more than words – it’s about holding space for a couple’s love story. I treat every ceremony as a chance to honour a heartfelt occasion, to mark the moment two lives choose to walk forward together.

I believe a wedding should feel personal and deeply meaningful – a reflection of the journey that brought two people here and the dreams that carry them forward.

My role is to make your special day truly yours: warm, welcoming, and ultimately, unforgettable. A ceremony that celebrates not just the promise you make, but the love that inspired it.

I’m a total romantic at heart, and my goal is to make every couple (and their guests!) think, that was the best wedding ever! Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a gathering of all friends and family, I’ll bring warmth, creativity, and a touch of magic to your special day.

Oh, and one more thing, I’m a proud ally and member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Love is love, and every love story deserves to be celebrated.

After two decades living in Melbourne, I relocated to Adelaide in 2022, and I have fallen in love with everything this gorgeous city and South Australia have to offer.

In my down time, I love going to the beach with friends, catching live shows and movies, visiting different wine regions, cooking, meditating, doing yoga or simply chilling on the couch with a good book or my favourite series.
